Drywood termites live inside the wood itself. We map every active gallery with the TermTrak scanner, then deliver borate-based wood treatment and spot-injection wood treatment directly into the galleries through small drill holes. TermTrak scanner

DeBugem's microwave-radar termite detection device. Sees through plasterboard, marble, tile, and timber to find live termite activity without opening walls. We use it to map the full extent of an infestation before we treat — so the chemistry goes exactly where the colony is.

Termidor SC (subterranean)

A non-repellent liquid barrier injected into soil around the foundation. Termites can't detect it, so they walk through it, carry it back to the colony, and the whole nest collapses. UF/IFAS field trials show 8–10 year residual.

Borate wood injection (drywood)

Borate-based wood treatment and spot-injection wood treatment delivered directly into active drywood galleries through small drill holes. Kills the colony in the wood and continues protecting the wood from re-infestation for the life of the structure.

Subterranean: Termidor SC trench-and-rod around foundation. 4–6 hours on site. Drywood: drill access holes, inject borate-based wood treatment, plug. 2–3 hours per area. You stay home for all of it.

Pets & kids stay

Termidor SC is injected into the soil — not airborne. Borate-based wood treatment is injected into wood with the holes plugged. No re-entry restrictions. The dog stays inside. The kids do homework on the kitchen table.

How do you locate every active termite gallery?

We use our TermTrak scanner — a microwave-radar termite detection device — to scan all suspected areas of the house and locate every active termite gallery without opening walls. The scanner sees through plasterboard, marble, tile, and timber, so we know exactly where the colony is before we treat. The radar takes the guessing out of it.

Do I need to leave the house at all?

No. This is how we do all our termite work — Termidor SC is applied to soil around the foundation, and borate-based wood treatment is injected into drilled holes which are then plugged. No re-entry restrictions, no pet relocation, no food removal.

Will the soil treatment hurt my plants?

No. Termidor SC binds tightly to soil and stays in the top 6–12 inches around the foundation. It doesn't move into root zones of decorative plants. We do recommend not transplanting anything within 18 inches of the foundation for 6 months — but established plants are fine.

How long does the treatment last?

Termidor SC soil barrier: 8–10 years per UF/IFAS field trials. Borate-based wood treatment: lifetime of the wood (it crystallizes inside the cellulose and doesn't break down). Our service guarantee: if pests come back within 12 months, we come back at no charge.

What about in-ground bait stations?

Different tool, same outcome — in-ground bait stations install around the property and let termites carry the active ingredient back to the colony. They work, but slower than Termidor SC liquid (months vs. weeks) and cost more over a 10-year window. We install both depending on the situation. New construction and active infestations get liquid; HOA monitoring and properties with pavers right against the foundation get bait stations.

What if I bought the house and the previous owner had a termite warranty?

Some warranties are transferable. We'll review the previous contract for free. If yours is still active with the original company, there's often no reason to pay for a fresh treatment — just the inspection and any necessary updates. If the warranty is from a company that's gone out of business or won't honor the transfer, you'll need a fresh inspection.
